DESCRIPTION:MONO : \n\nIn 1999, a sound emerged in Tokyo that would blur the boundaries of rock. With a unique blend of orchestral grandeur and layered guitar soundscapes, Mono built a universe that is both immersive and overwhelming. Their intense live performances have taken them to over 60 countries, with iconic anniversary shows featuring an orchestra, captured on Holy Ground and Beyond the Past.\nIn addition to their albums, they made a name for themselves as film composers, creating soundtracks for Where We Begin and The 4th Company. In 2018, Robert Smith of The Cure invited them to headline Meltdown Festival. Their 25th anniversary in 2024 was celebrated with the album OATH and a worldwide orchestral tour. In early 2025, their New York show was broadcast on NHK. They are currently touring North America, with a special stop in Trix coming up soon.\nLA ZZA RO :\n\nUnder the name Lazzaro, Geraldine Vanspauwen balances between ambient and songwriting, creating soundscapes where the ethereal and the earthly converge. Her debut EP ‘The Inner Land is Wide and Free’ (2022) marked her first release, and she is currently working on her first full-length album. With intimate tape recordings, loops, unsettling textures and a dreamlike voice, she crafts music that is both tangible and poetic.
