Obsidian Dust: Botanique’s Brand New One-Day Metal Festival

The Botanique, in collaboration with Metadrone, has announced Obsidian Dust, a thrilling new one-day metal festival debuting on May 15, 2025. This new event is part of Botanique’s iconic Les Nuits programming.

Hosted within the lush Botanical Garden and the iconic Botanique venues, the festival features three stages, one outdoor and two indoor, with performances by bands heavily inspired by Metadrone’s catalog;  Zeal & Ardor, Elder, Pallbearer, LLNN, and more!

As usually expected from Les Nuits, the line-up heavily reflects the artistry and intimacy that Botanique promotes through their highlight of Belgium’s cultural calendar. From experimental acts such as the established experimental black/gospel metal Zeal & Ardor and Green Milk From The Planet Orange, a seemingly unknown trio of Japanese daredevils to doomy, stoner acts such as Pallbearer and Elder.
Taste the Grit, Embrace the Unknown.
