Kneebody

The American quartet Kneebody has been around for almost a quarter century now. Despite their clear jazz slant, even jazz magazine Downbeat finds them – thank goodness – hard to categorise: “Kneebody always has been a difficult band to define. Traversing everything from grungy guitars to honking diaphragmatic horns, soulful vocals and intricate jazz-influenced melodies, it’s the genre fluidity that makes the band such an engaging live act.”
