Patti Smith
50 years is an anniversary worth celebrating! Patti Smith has decided to go back on tour to mark the 50th anniversary of the release of her legendary debut album, Horses. To mark the occasion, the rock legend will visit seven different countries and has scheduled not one but two prestigious dates for her Belgian fans! The Patti Smith on 50th Anniversary Perform Horses tour will stop at the Cirque Royal in Brussels on 15 and 16 October.
In addition to her work as a musician and singer, Patti Smith is also recognised as a poet, painter and photographer. Above all, she remains one of the creative pillars of punk and one of the few figures who embodies rock “n” roll in its most precious form. ‘Hey Joe’, “Gloria”, “Because The Night” and “People Got The Power” are all timeless songs that advocate rebellion and the rejection of conventions. Her work remains astonishingly modern, and each of her live performances is disconcertingly powerful.
Today, with her band, she is preparing to pay tribute to one of the most important albums of her career, Horses. Released in 1975, this seminal work in the history of international rock continues to resonate with relentless accuracy and represents the ultimate reference for generations of artists and musicians.
Patti Smith will perform Horses in its entirety on 15 and 16 October 2025 at the Cirque Royal in Brussels. Two unmissable evenings of rock music.
