Igorrr have just made two announcements on their social media: the dates for their summer tour and the departure of their singer, Marthe Alexandre. Marthe joined the band in 2023, but has now decided to focus on her personal and professional projects. We wish her all the best for the future! She will be replaced by Gerda Iguchi, a German-Japanese opera singer who has been familiar with Igorrr’s music for many years. You can find some of her cover band Opus Brain’s performances online.
Aphrodite, an opera singer who toured with Igorrr in 2021 and 2022, added a powerful lyrical dimension to Igorrr’s distinctive musical style. What will Gerda’s contribution be like?
