Architects
When Architects play live, you can be sure that the superlatives will be raining down. After an impressive show at the Graspop Metal Meeting last June, the British metalcore heroes will be warming up our winter with their ‘European Tour 2024’. Following on from their ‘Holy Hell Tour’ appearance in 2019, the band will return to Antwerp’s Lotto Arena on Thursday 25 January 2024. With support acts Spiritbox and LOATHE.
The band, masterfully led by drummer Dan and guitarist Tom Searle, was formed in Brighton in 2004. When they weren’t creating catchy metalcore tracks in the studio, the band inevitably found themselves on the road, touring the four corners of the globe. This has enabled them to grow and become an established headliner, filling arenas like the Lotto Arena effortlessly. Impressive visual effects, exceptional lighting effects, perfect chemistry between the band members… The dynamic between music and image is always incredibly well adjusted during each of their live performances.
After the death of guitarist Tom from cancer in 2016, the band went through a very complicated period emotionally. But his bandmates couldn’t have paid him a finer tribute than with the release of the album ‘Holy Hell’ in 2018. Since then, their determination has been stronger than ever. Album after album has been released at a remarkable rate, each one better than the last. In 2021, they released ‘For Those That Wish To Exist’, and this year, to everyone’s surprise, Architects offer us a tenth album entitled ‘The Classic Symptoms Of A Broken Spirit’.
