BEAR celebrates 15 years of pure, uncompromising aggression. The Antwerp-based progressive hardcore band has lost none of its intensity over the years, on the contrary. Their latest album Vanta is the result of years of struggle, pain, and perseverance. No light without darkness. After the release of ‘Propaganda’ (2020), guitarist James Falck was diagnosed with cancer, forcing the band into a period of uncertainty and recovery. Then, the pandemic brought the entire music scene to a halt. While many called it quits, BEAR kept fighting. They channeled illness, loss, frustration, and depression into their heaviest and most relentless work to date.
15 years of BEAR means 15 years of unwavering strength, cathartic noise, and pure hardcore. FEAR THE BEAR!
