DITZ
Formed in Brighton in 2016, DITZ have been in perpetual motion since the release of their debut album ‘The Great Regression’ (2022). Touring relentlessly around the world, the compositions on their new album ‘Never Exhale’ aptly reflect this evocative title, marking a frantic pace without respite;
Written throughout Europe, this second album, due in January 2025, was recorded at Holy Mountain studio in London and mixed by Seth Manchester (Model/Actriz, Lingua Ignota, Big Brave). A protégé of IDLES, the Brighton band continue to explore noise rock a la The Jesus Lizard or Shellac, as well as more abrupt post-punk in the style of The Fall. However, this new album, which tackles political themes such as hate and body issues, also introduces new sounds, this time influenced by Radiohead or Mogwai.
On stage, DITZ remain true to the intensity of their music, as evidenced by their live album released in 2023. The band captivate audiences with an impressive wealth of sound and undeniable charisma, turning every concert into a collective trance.
