Eivør

Eivør, the folk singer from the Faroe Islands, draws inspiration from the raw beauty of her upbringing in the windswept, rugged landscape of Syðrugøta (a village of barely 450 inhabitants). With ten studio albums by now and collaborations with artists like Àsgeir and Lana Del Ray’s Dan Heath, Eivør is recognised as one of the most eclectic Nordic artists and a most captivating live singer of the moment. She received the Nordic Council Music Prize in 2021 and has won the Icelandic Music Prize, the Danish Music Folk Awards and the Faroese Music Award. Eivør’s music, deeply rooted in ancient cultural folklore and the occult and all together has been streamed nearly 1 billion times and has led to sold-out tours in Scandinavia, Europe and the US.
