In 2025, music is at a crossroads, and OsamaSon is undoubtedly the standard-bearer of a new generation of rap. His rise began in early 2023, in the midst of an era when audiences were growing tired of fleeting TikTok hypes and monotonous underground acts. With his unique take on the darkplugg revival, combined with his energetic personality on platforms such as Thriller and Instagram Live, he built a loyal fanbase that catapulted him to viral fame.

His debut mixtape Osama Season was released on July 21, 2023, followed by Flex Musix in December and a deluxe version in February 2024. In 2024, he embarked on his first, completely sold-out tour of the US, played at summer festivals, and ended the year with a sold-out European tour. Despite a leak prior to its official release, his first studio album Jump Out debuted on the Billboard 200 in January 2025 and was praised by Pitchfork (8.2 score), among others.
