Purrses

Brussels-based band Purrses is a glam wave / art rock female fronted group with a wide eclectic range of influences.

Blinding 70’s / 80’s rock music, punk rooted energy with a modern twist : glam rock grooves meets teasing pop alongside rap’ish lyricism.

Keen ear for both weirdness sonics and pop stylistics, it’s quite special to describe, this is an entrance to Laura’s world who write compose and produce the music. Inevitably, her influences merged and got tinged with all the peculiarities that define Brussels alternative and underground scene.

This five-piece band is carving its own path in the indie scene, they’ve been performing since 2022 with highlights including Windmill Brixton (UK), Microfestival (BE), Point Ephémère (FR), Absolutely Free Festival (BE), Reflektor (BE) and Left of the Dial (NL). Live shows are fun yet sexy, tense and groovy.

After a first auto produced debut EP and a full analogic recorded second EP « Wrong Tide » released on three indie belgian labels (Jaune Orange, Rockerill Records, Belly Button Records), highly anticipated debut album called “Reality Fantasy” is set to be released this spring.
