Sum 41
After a 28-year career, the Canadians of Sum 41 have decided to throw in the towel. But they won’t say goodbye without one last new album, ‘Heaven :x: Hell’, and a world tour. Don’t miss Sum 41’s last concert in Belgium on Wednesday 23 October 2024 at the ING Arena!
Sum 41 was born on the 41st day of the summer of 1996 in Ajax, Ontario. After selling 15 million albums worldwide, winning two Juno Awards and a Grammy nomination, and playing to packed halls around the world, they are saying goodbye with a bang – on their own terms. Disregarding rules and expectations, the band – Deryck Whibley (vocals, guitar), Dave Baksh (guitar), Jason McCaslin (bass), Tom Thacker (guitar) and Frank Zummo (drums) – come out with a fiery testament in the form of a double LP, ‘Heaven :x: Hell’. ‘Heaven’ consists of 10 tracks of screeching, energetic pop punk, while ‘Hell’ consists of 10 heavy metal anthems full of blazing solos and ripping riffs. The release of their eighth and latest album is accompanied by their biggest tour ever, where they will play all over the world until 2025, and Belgium is of course on the programme. After a concert on the Main Stage of Rock Werchter this summer, Sum 41 will have a very last date with their Belgian fans on 23 October at the ING Arena. A farewell party not to be missed!
