The Last Dinner Party

If there’s one band to keep an eye on in 2024, it’s The Last Dinner Party. They are ready to take the world by storm with their debut album and a major international tour! Back in December, they were the support act for Hozier at Forest National, on Saturday 6 July, the London-based quintet will rock the Rock Werchter meadow, and this autumn they are coming to Belgium once more. The Last Dinner Party will be at the Royal Circus in Brussels on 29 October 2024!

Abigail Morris, Lizzie Mayland, Emily Roberts, Georgia Davies and Aurora Nishevci met in London in late 2010. Although they each have very distinct identities, they complement each other perfectly. From their artistic and musical vision to their clothing choices, their style is a mix of emancipation, glam rock and baroque pop, with structured compositions and unabashed lyrics. A recipe that clearly works! Even before their first single was released, the five-piece were already supporting the likes of Nick Cave, Florence + the Machine and The Rolling Stones. ‘Nothing Matters’, released in April 2023, is a mix of nostalgic and ultra-modern rhythms. The single earned them a place at the top of the international charts and even featured on the soundtrack of the EA Sports FC 24 game. The Last Dinner Party got off to a flying start and won both the Rising Brit Award 2023 and BBC Sound of 2024. With James Ford (Arctic Monkeys, Gorillaz…) as producer, the album ‘Prelude to Ecstasy’ was released in early February 2024 and immediately reached the top of the British charts. This first opus is a gem with a perfect balance between depth and playfulness, inspired by ABBA, Siouxsie and The Banshees, Kate Bush and Warpaint.
