Wallows
The surprising American alt-rock trio from Los Angeles continues its ascent with the release of its third album and, most importantly, a new international tour that will stop in Brussels! On 7 October, Wallows will be at the Ancienne Belgique for an eagerly awaited concert!
Childhood friends Dylan Minnette, Braeden Lemasters and Cole Preston are living the dream of almost every young music fan. Their story began almost 20 years ago on the Los Angeles music show ‘Join The Band’. After several promising EPs and a contract with Atlantic, the trio will release their first album in 2019. Nothing Happened’ quickly found international success, thanks largely to the song ‘Are You Bored Yet?’ featuring Clairo. Their lo-fi post-punk mix of indie folk and ultra-catchy ’90s dance-pop psychedelia made it one of the most streamed albums of the year. With ‘Tell Me That It’s Over’, released in 2022, Wallows continued their musical journey of discovery while confirming their outstanding style. The band performed at numerous festivals (Coachella, Lollapalooza, etc.) and sold out venues (among them AB in early 2023). With multi-platinum in their possession, Wallows are now shifting up a gear. Dylan, Braeden and Cole released their new single “Your Apartment” last month and are now announcing the long-awaited arrival of their third album. Produced by John Congleton, ‘Model’ is due for release on 24 May and promises to be a huge success. An absolute must-have for fans of upbeat indie rock and dreamy pop. This young, irresistible band is a breath of fresh air in the music world and should be discovered live at the AB on 7 October!
