Tumult Festival announce the running order for Saturday and Sunday

The full schedule for Tumult Festival is here! 2 days, 24 bands across Botanique’s 3 stages, an unmissable weekend. No idea what to check out first? Here’s the five artists we’re personally looking forward to on the 4th and 5th of October 2025!

AFLMSMP – Saturday – Museum Stage – 16h00

Also known as “Am Fost La Munte Și Mi-a Plăcut“, or in English “I Went To The Mountains And I Liked It“, this Romanian instrumental five-piece blends post-rock, progressive, and stoner influences. They caught the eye of Belgian label Dunk!Records after a 2019 festival appearance and have been part of the family ever since. If you’re a fan of the genre who prefers bands that take a more direct approach, eschewing lengthy build-ups and dramatic frills in favor of big riffs and spirited performance, these are your guys.

Witch Club Satan – Saturday – Rotonde Stage – 21h15

At some point we may stop shouting their name, but not today. The feminist black metal trio have brought raw, old-school aggression roaring back for a new generation. They use black metal’s chaotic freedom of expression to its fullest extent, never backing down from positioning themselves as an unapologetically political band. From small clubs to endorsements by every other legendary Black Metal artist, playing every major festival this summer and an upcoming tour supporting Avatar, Witch Club Satan are on a meteoric rise. Their theatrical, emotional shows grab you by the throat and do not let go. The last time they played Botanique it was unforgettable, you can read more about it here.

Solitaris – Sunday – Rotonde Stage – 16h00

Europe has been steadily climbing to the top of the Metalcore throne with acts like Paleface Swiss, Thrown, and Landmvrks, and now France’s masked outfit Solitaris. Their dystopian stagecraft and sonic identity feels pulled straight from the underbelly of a futuristic Paris. Their compositions are punitive and grandiose, hitting like a truck but leaving you in a cinematic trance, standing out as one of the most exciting new metal bands to watch.

Gnome – Sunday – Museum Stage – 18h00

This Antwerp-born trio has been on a roll since their first releases, thanks to a viral identity and their irresistibly catchy stoner rock. Beyond being talented musicians, Gnome are also down-to-earth guys always happy to grab a pint at a gig. Their shows ooze with fun, fueled by a cult-like following in pointy hats. Still not convinced? Check out the interview we did with them last year before their intimate set at Brasserie de la Mule.

Myrkur – Sunday – Orangerie Stage – 20h45

Amalie Bruun’s longstanding one-woman project is closing in on its 20th anniversary. Moving somewhere between Nordic folk and black metal, her concerts are deeply emotional and goosebump-inducing. Myrkur is the kind of show you might hesitate to attend, only to find yourself completely swept away, chanting and hailing Odin with an entranced crowd and swearing never to miss a tour again.
