After the day of the dead, on this Sunday 3rd November, the Trix was well packed to witness the performances of the 3 artists who offered Antwerp a memorable evening of darkness and rich emotional musical cocktail.
CHVE
The Belgian artist (also singer of the post-doom metal act AMENRA) guides us in an immersive and ritualistic experience, an out of time parenthesis engraved with primals and intense sonorous textures. Under the sobriety of a few gleam of white light that seems to come from a cold moon above, the one man band offered the audience an obscure journey with medieval instruments and dreamlike voices that transforms the venue into a mystical sanctuary.

Mary Jane Dunphe
Later on, Mary Jane Dunphe (singer of VEXX, GEN POP, CCFX among others) is presenting her first solo album “Stage of Love”. The american multidisciplinary artist is also alone on stage, and delivers a visceral show. Carried by her undeniable expressive power, the artist mixes the electro-pop and post-punk aspects of her musical compositions to a cathartic dance. A disciplinary crossroads!
