Autumn Kings are back with a new track, ‘Snake Charmer’, via Hopeless Records. Commenting on the new single, the band said:
“‘Snake Charmer’ is our relentless revenge anthem! We brought in an ominous flute performance (a first for us!) with playfully sinister lyrics and hectic riffs. We wanted to make this rocker cathartic for those wronged by narcissistic manipulators – I think we all know what that’s like. In Snake Charmer, the victim becomes the victor, combating psychological manipulation with brute force to reclaim control over their own life. Boundaries are crossed and tribal instincts take over in the pursuit of raw, visceral revenge. It’s a reminder that no matter what’s going on in your life, the conquered can become the conqueror and the hunted can become the hunter – even if it requires playing dirty, fighting unfairly. We believe that you have what it takes to confront your manipulator, and this is your anthemic inspiration for doing exactly that.”
‘Snake Charmer’ follows on from ‘Sleep When I’m Dead‘ and ‘Hellbound‘, released last summer.
Autumn Kings are soon to embark on a European tour, co-headlining with Cyan Kicks. The tour will stop in Belgium on 11 March at Kavka Oudaan in Antwerp. Tickets for this show are available from the venue’s website.
