Bad Omens and Poppy have released their new collaborative single ‘V.A.N.’. The industrial metal song tells the story of an artificial intelligence bent on destroying humanity.

Written and produced by Bad Omens leader Noah Sebastian, the song is the first taste of what the band will be offering on their forthcoming album, the CONCRETE FOREVER project. This project is an experimental extension of Bad Omens’ THE DEATH OF PEACE OF MIND album and the soundtrack to the’Concrete Jungle comic book universe.

Asked about the creation of the song, Sebastian explained :

The music video for ‘V.A.N.’ is co-written by Noah Sebastian, Poppy, and Garrett Nicholson. In the video, Poppy portrays a synthetic human held captive and subjected to experiments in a laboratory. Eventually, she breaks free and embarks on a murderous rampage. The single and cinematic video are available now on Sumerian Records.

Poppy and Bad Omens will both be on tour across Europe from Saturday 27 January until 11 February. They’ll be in Belgium on 05 February for an already sold-out gig at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels.
