Charlotte Sands has unveiled her new single ‘pity’. This single precedes the release of her debut album, can we start over?, which will be out on February 24 and includes the previously released singles ‘use me‘ and ‘get over it‘. About the song she said :
“’pity’ is a song about meeting ‘the perfect person’ and wishing you could be more like them. It’s about the feeling of jealousy and comparing yourself but also about the experience of being captivated by someone else’s existence. Making this song was such a fun experience, I wanted the production to feel like a high-energy show opener while the melody stayed simple and repetitive so everyone could scream the words together when we finally get to perform it live.”
Earlier this month, Charlotte Sands also announced plans for her first headlining world tour in 2024. About the tour she said :
“I am so excited to be announcing my very first worldwide headline tour and cannot wait to spend so much of next year with so many amazing people all over the world. I couldn’t be more proud of our team for being able to make this happen, especially as an independent artist in such a challenging industry with so many consistent obstacles. I’m confident that this tour and these shows are going to be unforgettable and are just the very beginning.I’m so grateful for everyone who is coming along for the ride.”
The tour will take in Belgium on June 13 at the De Centrale in Ghent. Tickets are available on the venue’s website!
