With the remainder of 2025 packed with tour dates across North America, Europe and the UK, The Amity Affliction are kicking off the second half of the year with brand new music: their latest single, ‘All That I Remember’ via Pure Noise Records.
The lyrics explore deeply personal recollections of a broken relationship with a parent. Frontman Joel Birch explains:
“My mother knew only abuse and isolation, even in death as she cut her own children off; she died as she lived, paranoid and alone.”
Son frère Beau ajoute :
“Time and again, our mother showed us that she would put herself fi rst, and use life’s pain to justify her actions of self-interests – while we were left to fend for ourselves.”
Leur sœur Chanel conclut en disant :
“This song reminds me how she would pit us against each other constantly, so much so I feel like my relationship with my brothers only grew after she was gone. When I was young I couldn’t see it, I didn’t understand the manipulation until years had passed, and I crossed oceans to breathe.”
The Amity Affliction will be joining Parkway Drive on their 20th anniversary European tour, running from September through November. The tour will stop in Belgium on 1 October at Forest National in Brussels. Tickets are available on the venue’s website.
