Pushing the boundaries of their signature sound, the track delivers a fierce blend of raw energy and bold creativity. About the song, Amy and Georgia explain the message behind the lyrics:
“‘Monsters’ is about awakening to and understanding your mental health. Growing up, we often look outward, absorbing what life throws at us. Over time, the good and bad experiences start to settle. Before learning to navigate these feelings, you may face self-loathing, anxiety and a fear of who you’ve become. Confronting these emotions, breathing through them, and opening up to someone can help. Many people struggle with mental health, and this song aims to show vulnerability and let our audience know they’re not alone.”
