Alternative rock band RedHook has just announced the upcoming release of their second album, Mutation, set to drop this November via Adventure Cat Records. Produced by Stevie Knight with contributions from Craig Wilkinson and mixed by James Paul Wisner, Mutation promises an intense sound journey.
Reflecting on the new album, vocalist Emmy Mack shared:
“Mutation felt like the perfect name for this record because we wanted it to feel like an evolution in every single way, not just in RedHook’s sound, but in the stories we’re telling and the messages behind them. We want to offer new perspectives, challenge old ways of thinking and just double-down on being unapologetically ourselves. RedHook has always felt like a bit of a misfit. A lot of people don’t quite ‘get’ us. But we didn’t make this record for those people. We made it for the ones like us. The misfits, the outliers, the weirdos. We can’t wait for you to hear it.”
This album follows Postcard From A Living Hell, released last year, and will feature singles like ‘Pyromaniac,’ ‘Cannibal,’ ‘Breaking Up With,’ ‘Scream 2,’ and ‘Tourist.’
