Not sure if she still needs an introduction, but Sophie Straat, a protest singer from the Netherlands, who collaborated with Goldband, who sold out Paradiso more than once and who played festivals like Lowlands and Pukkelpop, is coming to Ancienne Belgique for what will be a sold out show for sure!
Alongside her music, Sophie is also a multi-disciplinary artist who creates artwork, photos and films, such as the short film Mooier Als Je Lacht, that revolves around three album songs. Sophie Straat is here to say something with her protest songs, with the ultimate goal of bringing about change. Because the world sucks and is only getting suckier, but “the revolution is unstoppable” (De Standaard).
