The Devil Wears Prada have released their new album Flowers, available now through Solid State Records. This ninth studio album marks the band’s latest addition to their catalogue and follows nearly twenty years of activity in the metalcore scene. Flowers was introduced by the singles ‘Where the Flowers Never Grow’, ‘Wave’, ‘For You’, ‘Everybody Knows’, ‘So Low’ and ‘Eyes’ which provided an early look at the material featured on the record.
Singer and Guitarist, Jeremy DePoyster says
Where The Flowers Never Grow’ is a song about the realization that no matter how good things get from the outside, there is a still a place of darkness in our minds… the place where flowers never grow. The hours spent away from the stage and the bright lights can be a lonely place. The lyrics are a reckoning with how you can receive everything you thought you wanted, but you still have to reckon with the intrusive thoughts of emptiness and old wounds that you’re trying to find a way to heal. My hope is that anyone who hears the song feels seen, that they’re not alone in the darkest corners of their mind, and that we’re all trying to find a way forward

The album presents a combination of heavy and melodic elements, featuring the band’s characteristic mix of harsh and clean vocals, electronic components, and guitar-driven arrangements. The production places emphasis on contrasts between aggressive sections and more atmospheric passages, maintaining continuity with the band’s recent releases while incorporating several stylistic adjustments.
Lyrical themes on Flowers focus on personal reflection and long-term progression, aligning with the group’s interest in exploring experiences accumulated throughout their career.
As part of their European tour, The Devil Wears Prada will perform a sold out show at Ancienne Belgique in Brussels on November 26, 2025, supporting Ice Nine Kills.
