Melbourne’s own The Gloom In The Corner introduces their latest single, ‘The Jericho Protocol’, released today under SharpTone Records. Alongside this release, they also announce the addition of new members Jesse Abdurazak on guitar and Joshua Clinch on drums.
Set in the narrative universe preceding their second album Trinity, ‘The Jericho Protocol’ narrates Rachel Barker’s experience at Paradise, a rehabilitation facility named The Garden Hotel. This establishment aims to aid newcomers in adjusting to their existence post-mortem. Speaking on their latest single, the band shares :
“This is us at our writing peak — finding a balance between haunting and operatic melodies, and dimension destroying breakdowns”.
The Gloom In The Corner is currently on tour in Europe alongside Vended. Their tour includes a stop in Belgium on May 21st at Kavka Zappa in Antwerp.
