Horror-metal visionaries Ice Nine Kills have released Part One of their latest project, ‘The Laugh Track’, marking the beginning of a new narrative chapter in their expanding horror universe.

The song and video draw heavy inspiration from Batman ’89 and its gothic take on Gotham City. Frontman Spencer Charnas channels the Joker’s chaotic charm, blending menace and humor in a theatrical performance that captures the essence of Tim Burton’s dark aesthetic.

Directed by Jensen Noen, the video transforms Charnas into a sinister showman presiding over a carnival of madness.

Musically, the track carries Ice Nine Kills’ signature mix of sharp riffs, cinematic orchestration, and theatrical vocals, a continuation of the band’s horror storytelling tradition from The Silver Scream and Welcome to Horrorwood.

Ice Nine Kills will be coming to Belgium soon. They’re scheduled to perform in Brussels on November 26, 2025 at a Sold Out Ancienne Belgique show.
