Aitch
For any self-respecting rap fan, it is impossible to miss Harisson Armstrong, better known by his stage name, Aitch. A rapper, writer and composer, the 22-year-old Mancunian combines an incisive flow, with his typical Manchester accent, with rhymes that click. His first success came at the age of 18, when, noticed for his freestyle talent, he signed to Northern Quartez Music and released his first sound “Straight Rhymez”. With over 25 million views on YouTube to date, the track has propelled him to the top of the UK rap scene and attracted the attention of Stormzy and Ed Sheeran. With his latest single ‘1989’ Aitch adds to the rap edifice he has built, sampling the famous rockers The Stone Roses and their classic ‘Fools Gold’. The prolific young rapper has just announced the release of his debut album ‘Close To Home’ via Capitol this summer, a tribute to his home town. A visit to the Botanique is not to be missed!
