Brutus

Brutus is the Belgian godchild within the progressive rock and metal scene. With a unique blend of post-rock, hardcore, prog-rock and metal, they have been waltzing the music world for several years. Power trio and golden combination behind Brutus is vocal drummer Stefanie Mannaerts, guitarist Stijn Vanhoegaerden and bassist Peter Mulders. Their debut album Burst (2017) and successor Nest (2019) were showered with superlatives by media at home and abroad.

After extensive tours in both Europe and North America, they have built an almost indestructible live reputation. With new album Unison Life (2022), they are touring the U.S.A. this year, playing at no less than 26 festivals and traversing Europe and the U.K. with their club tour this fall. Live, expect a solid and energetic set with masterful bass lines, ethereal post-rock and a high hardcore/punk content. Stefanie takes you through melodic and steely lyrics with her dazzling voice.
