Ciao Kennedy

Ciao Kennedy is like the taste of sour candy bursting in your mouth, the euphoria of an afternoon spent at the fair, where modernity meets childhood nostalgia. Under the glittering neon lights of a rainy night, their music traces out bursts of electric, colourful poetry, blending tenderness and intensity.

Born of a childhood friendship, the five members of Ciao Kennedy have fashioned a unique sound universe after exploring a wide range of musical horizons. As members of the Brussels collective Magma, alongside groups such as TUKAN and Echt!, they stand out for a musical identity that fuses jazz, post-rock and electronic music. Their debut EP, The Problem Is, marked their transition to a bold, deeply instrumental sound.

With Solarium, their debut album to be released on 21 March 2025 on the Sdban label, Ciao Kennedy are pushing back the boundaries even further. This album is an immersive journey between light and shadow, where guitars saturated with post-rock effects meet hypnotic electronic beats and atmospheres of rare density. Each track unfolds an original soundscape, inviting the listener to plunge into a melancholy and electrifying universe.

More than just an album, Solarium is a sensory exploration, an invitation to perceive music differently. Ciao Kennedy has established itself as a UFO on the Brussels scene, transforming each listen into a luminous and vibrant journey, oscillating between the familiar and the unexpected.

To celebrate the release of Solarium, the band will be holding a release party at Le Botanique in Brussels on 17 April 2025. A not-to-be-missed opportunity to immerse yourself in their unique universe and experience the energy of their music live.
