Coach Party

Hailing from the Isle of Wight in southern England, the members of Coach Party met through their shared passion for music. They all frequented the same cultural venues on this small island, where some worked and/or performed. Coach Party was born under the impetus of singer Jess Eastwood and guitarist Steph Norris, who quickly realized the potential of this collaboration. They were soon joined by Joe Perry on guitar and Guy Page on drums.

Musically, the quartet draws inspiration from a wide range of artists, including Nirvana, Sonic Youth and The Strokes, as well as contemporary artists such as Wolf Alice, The Big Moon and Tame Impala. What’s more, their visceral need to create and perform their songs is rooted in life’s complications. The result is a style that blends indie rock with pop punk and grunge rock.

After opening for Queens of the Stone Age and an acclaimed concert at Glastonbury, Coach Party released their debut album “Killjoy” in September 2023: an ambitious but successful project, rich in a broad emotional spectrum and a varied musical palette.
