Eagle-Eye Cherry
The nineties are back, and so is Eagle-Eye Cherry. When the Swedish-American son of jazz artist Don Cherry and the brother of pop idol Neneh Cherry released his solo work at the end of the nineties, he immediately scored a world hit. In 1997 and 1998, it was impossible to turn on the radio without spontaneously humming along to the great Save Tonight. With his debut album Desireless he scored platinum in the US and at the MTV Awards he won three times: best newcomer, best male artist and best video.
Exactly 25 years later, Eagle-Eye Cherry is ready to conquer the world with his music. In the meantime, he has released four more studio albums, but also took a break from being an artist to live a free life in his hometown, Stockholm. The new single I Like It, heralding the release of the album Back on Track on 7 October, shows that he has certainly not forgotten the art of writing pop songs. Live at De Roma, let the positive energy and delicious melodies of Eagle-Eye Cherry ignite you once again!
