Ekkstacy

Ekkstacy is a young man from Vancouver. At just 19, he was already presenting himself as one of the rising stars of the indie surf rock scene, and began writing his first songs inspired by deeply moving personal experiences such as drug addiction and his parents’ divorce. His music is influenced by Elliott Smith, The Drums, Bon Iver and Lil Peep.

In fact, he was discovered by The Drums frontman Jonathan Pierce. Join us in our greenhouses to discover the man Les Inrocks describe as “the new sensation on the surf rock scene”. After presenting us with his first mini-album, Negative, Ekkstacy returns to our Rotonde with a new album in his pocket.
