On the occasion of his 40th birthday, Ibrahim Maalouf presents his latest album 40 Melodies. An opus in which he returns to the essentials: a trumpet, a guitar and his most striking melodies.

Multi-awarded trumpet player (Victoires de la Musique, Césars, …), Ibrahim Maalouf testifies to his inspiring double culture, between Lebanon and France, between East and West.

Baroque music, improvisations of Arab music and contemporary music… Ibrahim Maalouf revisits in all simplicity the melodies of his childhood, accompanied by his faithful travelling companion, the Belgian guitarist François Delporte.

In this light-hearted stage version, between new compositions and covers, the trumpet returns to the forefront of the stage for an authentic sound.
