Martin Kohlstedt 

German piano virtuoso Martin Kohlstedt is often – not surprisingly, rather predictably in fact – mentioned in the same breath as that other contemporary neo-classical hero: Nils Frahm. He created a beautiful diptych with ‘Tag’'(2012) and ‘Nacht’ (2014), and with ‘Strom’ (2017) and last year’s superb release ‘Ströme’ he has at least coupled the titles. Kohlstedt returns to the more sober tonality of his first albums with the brand new one ‘Flur’ (to be released this fall)
