Mass of the Fermenting Dregs is a Japanese post-hardcore/shoegaze band formed in Kobe, Japan, in 2007. Known for their guitar playing and energetic live performances, they are one of Japan’s most daring and appealing alternative rock bands. Rooted in a brutal and visceral approach, the band draws on chaos to create hypnotic soundscapes, where each track becomes an uncompromising sonic exploration. Also popular in Europe, they will perform once again at the Botanique after a remarkable appearance in March 2024.
