The four of them created their own unique metal sound over the years. The trajectory of the American rock band from Antonio, Texas was not without controversy. Their love of music brought band members Jonny Hawkins and Mark Vollelunga together while still in high school. This led to countless jam sessions and, in 2003, their own band. Nothing More was born. Over the years, the rock group had a coming and going of different band members. They recorded several independent albums, but couldn’t get a record label or a secure spot on a lineup.

In 2009, drummer Jonny Hawkins decided to take the place of frontman for himself. With their own pennies, the band members recorded their fourth studio album, “Nothing More,” in three years. A success! They won over record label Eleven Seven Music. 2014 marked their big breakthrough. ‘The Stories We Tell Ourselves’ was their fifth studio album released in 2017 and was nominated for a Grammy. In October 2022, the band released ‘Spirits,’ their sixth album.

From songs that will make your fist pop in the air, to songs that no moshpit can resist. Nothing More brings progressive metal and does not hold back from experimenting with sound. With philosophical lyrics inspired by ideas of Eckhart Tolle or Carl Jung and a vibe reminiscent of Linkin Park or Rage Against The Machine, they create their own authentic and sincere rock sound.
