Obituary is one of the most successful and influential bands in death metal history. The first Obituary album ‘Slowly we Rot’ (1989) is a classic in the genre. Groove and heavyness prevail and the combination of slow and fast passages as well as howler John Tardy’s distinctive voice makes Obituary a unique metal band. With their eleventh album ‘Dying of Everything’, released last year, they continue their series of achievements.
