The Seatsniffers
When The Seatsniffers visited De Roma on 12 May 2010, the venue just about exploded. What an energy, what a party! After a long break, the Sniffers are back: in the original line-up with the merciless big beat of the De Houwer brothers in the rhythm section, Roel Jacobs on sax and Walter Broes on guitar and vocals.
Since the mid-nineties, The Seatsniffers have been proving that roots music does not have to be dull ‘dad rock’. With their unique mix of rhythm-and-blues, rockabilly, rock-‘n-roll, country, gospel and a firm dash of punk-attitude, the Belgian band leaves an indelible impression. Their debut record made it onto national radio and from their second record onwards, they have also been successful abroad.
For seventeen years, the ‘Sniffers stormed through Belgium and abroad like a whirlwind. They released a total of seven albums. Then things went quiet. For a long time. Until now. Until Saturday 22 April 2023 in De Roma. You have been warned!
