Support the scene : 20 shows to see in April 2025 in Belgium !

Our “Support The Local Scene” list highlights lesser-known artists, smaller promoters, and venues with a capacity of under 1000… and with the arrival of spring, we’ve got plenty of concerts for you to check out! Here’s our selection of 20 must-see shows for April 2025.

01. PG.99 – Magasin 4 – 01/04/2025

Formed in 1997 in Sterling, Virginia, Pg.99 pushed the boundaries of punk with their chaotic, genre-blurring sound. After a series of reunions, the band remains active, playing select shows and festivals in 2023 and 2024. Their iconic Document #8 and Singles Collection LPs were reissued in August 2023 via Persistent Vision. Don’t miss the chance to witness their unrelenting sonic assault live!

02. Break Your Neck + Quodac – Brasserie de la Mule – 03/04/2025

If there’s one concert that deserves a spot on this list, it’s the one curated by the Hellhole Project, featuring two standout bands from the Belgian scene: Break Your Neck and Quodac! Break Your Neck is a young nu-metal band formed in 2023, aiming to revive the raw energy and aggression of the ’90s nu-metal movement, drawing inspiration from Slipknot, Korn, Limp Bizkit, and Linkin Park. As for Quodac, they seamlessly blend their diverse influences, shifting from atmospheric soundscapes to hard-hitting breakdowns that ignite the pit. Following the release of Battle Of The Mascots in 2024 and a single later that year, their second EP will showcase another side of the band—more refined, more intricate, and, above all, darker.

03. No Fun At All – Cactus Muziekcentrum – 03/04/2025

Swedish punk rock legends NO FUN AT ALL have been a driving force in melodic punk since the 1990s. With high-energy riffs, infectious vocal hooks, and electrifying live shows, they’ve built a dedicated global fan base—including in Belgium, where anticipation is high for their return to Cactus in Bruges. Are you ready for a night of pure adrenaline and punk energy?

04. Catch Your Breath – Kavka Zappa – 06/04/2025


Sunday April 6th promises to be a great night for metalcore enthusiasts. Catch Your Breath is thrilled to bring The SAVAGES tour to Antwerp! Known for their dynamic performances and emotionally charged music this band is ready to deliver an unforgettable experience, thanks in part to support acts Until I Wake and Of Virtue.

05. Boundaries + Varials – Jeugdhuis Comma – 06/04/2025

Boundaries have stepped into the spotlight with their latest album, Death Is A Little More, seamlessly blending metalcore and hardcore. Over the past few years, the band has solidified their status on the scene, sharing the stage with heavyweights like The Acacia Strain, Currents, and Knocked Loose. Known for their explosive live performances, Boundaries never fail to rock any venue. To make this tour even more intense, they’ve brought Varials, Dagger Threat, and No Face No Case along for the ride. Expect nothing less than a destructive show that will leave you absolutely floored!

06. Cobra The Impaler / Walfang – Trix – 09/04/2025

07. The Mary Wallopers – Botanique – 11/04/2025

Do you feel like something is calling you to Ireland? It’s probably The Mary Wallopers calling you not to come in Ireland but In Botanique on Friday 11th April! After an extensive tour of the UK, the Irish folk band who turn every concert into a party will be shaking the walls of L’Orangerie in Botanique. An opportunity to spend a convivial evening immersed in Irish culture.

08. Delta Sleep – JC Bouckenborgh – 11/04/2025

For 16 years, Delta Sleep has been redefining expectations, constantly evolving their sound. Formed in 2008, the Brighton-based quartet blends math rock, punk, and indie rock into something uniquely their own—defying easy categorization. Their dynamic, intricate compositions and boundless energy make them a must-see live experience. Don’t miss the chance to witness their genre-blurring brilliance in action!

09. Kelsy Karter & The Heroines – Kavka Oudaan – 13/04/2025

Kelsy Karter & The Heroines are an Australian-British rock & roll band who have taken the world by storm with their electrifying sound and theatrical live shows. 10. Lordi – De Casino – 13/04/2025

11. Oracle Sisters – Botanique – 13/04/2025

On Sunday April 13th, the oracle sisters will be at the Botanique in Brussels to present their new album divinations, released in February. It’s an opportunity to immerse yourself in a dreamlike universe of vintage pop, folk and psychedelic touches. Oracle Sisters distill a soaring, almost timeless atmosphere. 12. HALFLIVES – Kavka Oudaan – 14/04/2025

13. Saya Gray – Botanique – 14/04/2025

A bewitching voice, tracks that straddle the border between indie, R&B and sonic experimentation: the phenomenon of 2025, Saya Gray is an elusive artist. On stage, she deconstructs codes and plunges us into an introspective journey where every note seems to float in space. The singer has decided to present her latest album SAYA at Le Botanique on Monday April 14th. A concert that promises to be intimate and hypnotic, to be enjoyed with eyes closed.

14. Esprit D’Air – Kavka Oudaan – 15/04/2025

After selling out their previous shows, award-winning Japanese rock and metal act Esprit D’Air is making their long-awaited return to Belgium! Led by Kai (The Sisters of Mercy), the band is set to bring their electrifying sound to Kavka Oudaan in Antwerp on April 15, 2025. Esprit D’Air creates epic songs that are both incredibly intimate and theatrical by fusing ethereal soundscapes with hard-hitting riffs, complex guitar work, and soaring vocal melodies. They have a devoted global fan base thanks to their blending of progressive, electronic, and metal elements.

15. Ciao Kennedy – Botanique – 17/04/2025

The Brussels scene is brimming with talent, and Ciao Kennedy is one of them. The electronic post-rock band is lucky enough to be able to play its debut album Solarium at the mythical Botanique in Brussels. The members of the magma collective will take us on a sensitive and poetic journey. To experience this timeless evening, come along to the Botanique on Thursday, April 17!

16. thrown – Trix – 20/04/2025

No idea what they’re feeding the Swedes lately, but these guys are producing some of the best metalcore right now! The latest project of the ever-busy Buster Odeholm, catch him behind the drum kit with thrown (with a small “t”). The Stockholm quartet is pushing the genre’s limits to its edge, mixing rap, phonk, massive breakdowns, and nasty riffs. One thing’s for sure—expect to dodge some fists in the pit. The opening acts are just as wild, featuring Japanese metalcore beasts Crystal Lake, trap-metal powerhouse UnityTX, and British nu-metalcore outfit Graphic Nature.

17. Luvcat – Botanique – 24/04/2025

Luvcat and her band unleash a riot of Parisian decadence fused with the raw intensity of British rock, blending romance, danger, escapism, and pure rock’n’roll. Drawing inspiration from Nick Cave, The Cure, and the spirit of cabarets, Luvcat creates a universe that’s both dark and theatrical. Her timeless yet modern songs are at home in smoky jazz clubs and tales of tormented romance alike. 18. Honeyglaze – Botanique – 29/04/2025

Honeyglaze is back in Belgium after a sold-out performance at Trix Café in December 2024, and this time, they’re taking the stage at the Botanique! The band is gearing up for the release of their highly anticipated second album, with renewed ambition and a deep commitment to their craft. Known for their authenticity and fresh take on British indie, Honeyglaze continues to solidify their place as one of the scene’s most exciting voices. Don’t miss the chance to see them live!

19. Blind Girls – Magasin 4 – 29/04/2025 / Antwerp Music City – 30/04/2025

In the decade they’ve spent crafting blistering, technical screamo, Blind Girls have released two albums, three EPs, a split, and a single. The Gold Coast, Queensland quintet’s 2022 album, The Weight of Everything, is a crushing exploration of seamless discord. This year, they’ll bring their explosive live show to Belgium with two dates: April 29 at Magasin 4 in Brussels and April 30 at Antwerp Music City in Antwerp. 20. Macseal – JC Bouckenborgh – 30/04/2025

The much-loved indie rock quartet Macseal is embarking on their first-ever European tour, and we’re lucky enough to have them playing in Belgium! This is a rare chance to experience their signature sound live, featuring songs from their 2015 beginnings and their latest album, Permanent Repeat, released last year. Don’t miss out on this exciting opportunity to see Macseal live for the first time on European soil!
