Singer-songwriter Caroline Rose recently released their latest single, ‘The Doldrums‘. The track is a preview of Caroline Rose’s forthcoming album, ‘The Art Of Forgetting’, due for release on 24 March via New West Records.
In a statement about the new single, Rose said
“‘The Doldrums’ was the song I wrote when I was realising I had basically no understanding of self-compassion. It’s about the voice inside my head that blames me for everything that’s ever gone wrong, mostly things out of my control. My idea of rebirth and reformation at the time was killing off my old self and finding a new one, rather than simply being kind to myself… not because I didn’t want to be, but because I didn’t really know how.”
In parallel with this release, a European tour has been announced for the end of spring. They will be passing through Amsterdam, Paris and Brussels! In Belgium, the concert will take place on 13 June at the Ancienne Belgique. Tickets are on sale on the venue’s website.
