Devendra Banhart announces new album “Flying Wig” and world tour

Psychedelic folk artist Devendra Banhart‘s new album Flying Wig is coming out on 22 September.

Flying Wig was produced by Welsh singer-songwriter Cate Le Bon and will be released via Mexican Summer. It’s Devendra Banhart’s 11th studio album, after his collaboration with Noah Georgeson for Refuge. The American-Venezuelian musician has already released the single, “Nun,” featuring the new album’s lead track “Twin.” You’ll find the music video, directed by Matt Muir, below.

The release of his first solo album in four years will also kick off Devendra Banhart’s world tour, bringing him to Europe after performing live shows across the United States and Canada. On 29 November, the Ancienne Belgique will be the last stop of Banhart’s European tour. Don’t miss it!
