British power metal band DragonForce has released a new video game-related single, this time for the VR hit Beat Saber. Titled ‘Power Of The Saber Blade’, it’s among the four tracks featured on the game’s sixth soundtrack. This new track is Beat Saber’s fastest, clocking in at 10.66 notes per second, reminiscent of their Guitar Hero boss status with ‘Through The Fire And Flames’. The guitarist of the band, Herman Li says:
“It’s truly an honor for DragonForce to create an exclusive track for Beat Saber, a game we are wholeheartedly passionate about. We hope fans will discover the exhilaration of ‘Power Of The Saber Blade’, finding it both enjoyable and challenging across all levels. We’re eagerly anticipating the skillful attempts on Expert+”

DragonForce will be touring Europe in 2024, co-headlining with Amaranthe. The tour will include a stop in Belgium on February 17 at the Ancienne Belgique, and tickets for this show are available on the venue’s website.
