Fever Ray has unveiled the third single from their upcoming album, “Radical Romantics“, titled “Kandy.” The track was co-produced and co-written by Karin Dreijer, the driving force behind Fever Ray, along with Olof Dreijer, Karin’s brother and fellow member of the electronic music group, The Knife. The “Kandy” music video, directed by Martin Falck, features both Dreijer siblings and pays homage to The Knife’s visual for “Pass This On.”

Olof Dreijer shared his creative process for “Kandy” in a statement :

“I tried to tune in as much as possible into Fever Ray vibes and tried many different styles, or clothes as I usually say when I talk about different music production suggestions. But in the end we took out the same synthesizer, the SH101, used for the Knife track, ‘The Captain,’ and it just worked!”

“Radical Romantics”, Fever Ray’s highly anticipated album, is set to release on March 10th and will feature “Kandy” alongside previously released tracks “What They Call Us” and “Carbon Dioxide.” The band is also scheduled to tour soon, with dates in the upcoming months in support of their new album.

Fever Ray will be on tour in Europe at the beginning of spring and will pass by Brussels, at the Cirque Royal on April 03.
