San Francisco Bay Area metallers Machine Head have unveiled plans for a European tour starting in June. The 18-date tour, which kicks off on June 2 in Groningen, Netherlands, will feature a mix of headline shows and festival appearances across the continent.

On this tour, the band will perform at a number of renowned festivals, including Germany’s Rock Im Park and Rock Am Ring, England’s Download Festival, France’s Hellfest, and a return to Belgium at Graspop, among others.

The announcement follows frontman Robb Flynn’s apparent change of heart regarding festival performances, as the band prepares to make a festival comeback after nearly a decade. Flynn had previously sworn off festival performances, admitting that he and his bandmates were “burnt out on them.” This change of heart follows Machine Head’s secret participation in the 2022 edition of Bloodstock Open Air in the UK and their headlining appearance at Graspop in 2023.

The tour also features a series of headlining concerts. For instance, they will perform in Groningen, Netherlands, on June 2, in Tilburg, Netherlands, on June 4, and in Hamburg, Germany, on June 20.You can see the full list of tour dates below.
