After an extremely successful first edition of Obsidian Dust, Botanique’s Les Nuits and Metadrone are gearing up for a second edition on the 16th and 17th of May 2026!
Kyuss’ legendary Vocalist John Garcia will be headlining the festival with his project Hermano together with other fuzzy, doomy guitar wizards The Sword. The festival will also feature names like King Buffalo, Acid King and more, but we’ll be most interested in Dope Purple.
Obsidian Dust already treated us to the Japanese band Green Milk from the Planet Orange last year, but this year, Taiwan will be visiting us with their take on noise rock. Filled with fuzz, feedback, improvisation and synth, the Taipei band’s latest release Children in the Dark is a must-listen for any psychedelic rock fan.
