Rockstadt Extreme Fest Puts Eastern Europe on the Festival Map with Stacked Line-Up

Located in the heart of Transylvania, Rockstadt Extreme Fest promises five days of Metal in one of Romania’s most iconic sites: Râșnov Fortress. Sitting at €211 for a full pass and €31 for camping, prices have gradually edged closer to Western festival rates but remain affordable for the duration—especially with the stacked lineup for the 11th edition taking place from the 30th of July to the 3rd of August 2025!

The lineup is diverse, offering something for everyone across genres: from Power Metal to Death and Black Metal, Gothic Doom to Deathcore, Hardcore, and even Thrash & Folk Metal. Rockstadt truly covers all bases.

Joining headliners Powerwolf and Gojira, hard-hitting Machine Head has been added as the third main act! Additional headliners include Brazilian thrash legends Sepultura for their final show in Romania after 40 years, Progressive icons Mastodon, Death Metal veterans Kataklysm with a special anniversary set, French synthwave act Carpenter Brut, Industrial Glam outfit Lord of the Lost, Italian metal dwarves Wind Rose, and for those interested in the local scene, the self-proclaimed folkcore metal band Dirty Shirt, celebrating 30 years!

Seriously! If you’ve never heard of Dirty Shirt, now’s the time! Known for notably bringing a folkloric ensemble to Hellfest’s Temple Stage in 2022 and collaborating with Skindred’s Benji Webbe on their latest album, they promise an unforgettable show.
