Teddy Swims, became known for posting covers on TikTok and Instagram, such as ‘Blinding Lights’ (The Weeknd), ‘You’re Still The One’ (Shania Twain) and ‘Don’t Stop Believin’ (Journey), all from his bedroom studio.
With his 2020 EP ‘Unlearning,’ he made the switch to original songs and gained recognition from platforms such as Billboard, Rolling Stone and The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. With more than 500 million global streams and 8 million followers on social media, Teddy, who mixes soul, rock and pop, has become a rising star, thanks in part to collaborations with Meghan Trainor, Armin van Buren and Elley Duhé. The 31-year-old singer-songwriter recently released his debut studio album “I’ve Tried Everything But Therapy (Part 1)“.
Despite touring since 2019, Teddy spent four years writing this emotionally resonant album, in which he addresses his own issues and embraces healing. The album, released in parts, reflects his own journey of self-discovery and invites listeners to connect with his struggles.
