clipping. – 24 April
Alternative rap group clipping. will be presenting their horrorcore rap for the first time at the Botanique. The band, whose universe is inspired by horror cinema, is led by virtuoso MC Daveed Diggs (Which you may have seen in the Snowpiercer show), with William Hutson and Jonathan Snipes bringing their mastery of electronic music to the mix.
Jeshi / Louis Culture / Finn Foxell – 25 April
Jeshi, Louis Culture and Finn Foxell join forces for an evening of 100% London hip-hop. After performing at the Witloof Bar, rapper Jeshi will be back in Brussels for the pleasure of UK hip-hop fans, an opportunity for him to present his new tracks, including “In The Wind”, released in February 2024.
Gaye Su Akyol – 26 April
Gaye Su Akyol is Turkey’s female rock superstar. A free spirit, deliberately anti-establishment, she draws as much from Turkish psychedelic rock of the 60s and 70s, traditional and folk music, as from the grunge of the 90s and electronic music.
Hannah Diamond – 27 April
Hannah Diamond finds her musical niche somewhere between the stylized pop of CHVRCHES and the electro dance of SOPHIE. In addition to her roles as a singer and songwriter, this Bristol native is also a photographer and visual artist. Like many other artists associated with the collective and its label PC Music, her meticulously crafted yet innocent songs embody the essence of contemporary pop music.
Yard Act – 28 April
Yard Act is the English band that has been on the rise since the release of their debut album, “The Overload,” in 2022! A commercial and critical success, the album reached number two in the UK charts. Their meteoric rise continued as they clinched the coveted Brit Award for Newcomer of the Year in 2023.
Aime Simone / Johnny Jane / Eugénie – 30 April
For the 6th Nuits Botanique evening, Aime Simone will take to the big top to present his latest album, “Oh Glory”. This won’t be Aime Simone’s first date at the Botanique, and it will be his 3rd in the Brussels venue as he climbs the ranks from year to year. His first date was in 2022 at La Rotonde, followed by one in 2023 at L’Orangerie. This time, the French musician will be supported by Johnny Jane and Eugénie as opening acts to kick off this “post-pop” evening!
Night Beats – 30 April
Night Beats creates his tracks in the same way as a jigsaw puzzle. His starting point is a creative spark that gives him goose bumps. His music is somewhere between a western soundtrack and a psych-pop opus. He’s certainly an artist worth discovering on stage!
Thantifaxath – 03 May
Thantifaxath, originating from Toronto, Canada, emerged in the early 2010s. Renowned for their avant-garde black metal sound, the band strives to transcend genre confines and artistic limitations, preferring to allow their music to articulate its essence independently. Notably, Thantifaxath upholds an aura of enigma by concealing the identities of its members.
All Access – 04 May
The Bota All Access concept introduces a festival within a festival experience! It promises a full day of concerts, kicking off at 11 a.m., featuring an impressive lineup of 26 bands and artists across the four stages of Les Nuits Botanique. Among these diverse acts, we highly recommend catching the performances of Bar Italia, Big|Brave, David Numwami, Lou K and LOVERMAN.
Erika de Casier – 05 May
Erika de Casier returns to Nuits Botanique after making a big impression in 2022. This time, she takes to the stage to present her eagerly awaited third studio album, “Still”, released on February 21. Her performance is undoubtedly a not-to-be-missed highlight in the 2024 line-up.
