The 15 shows to not miss in Belgium in March 2024!

The month of March is always synonymous with a concert-filled period, and I have to admit that this selection was very difficult to make as there are so many interesting concerts! Nevertheless, we have selected the 15 must-see concerts in March.

YONAKA – Ancienne Belgique – 01 March

After a series of festival appearances in Belgium, YONAKA will finally be playing a club show as headliner! Theresa Jarvis’ band will be bringing their alternative rock fusion of pop, punk, and hip-hop to the Ancienne Belgique to play their hits as well as new tracks from their latest EP, Welcome To My House. Add Mimi Barks and NOISY to the bill, and you’ve got a concert not to be missed by alt music fans.

Polaris – De Casino – 02 March

“Are you a metalcore fan? Then this Polaris concert is an absolute must-see! In addition to Polaris, we have the long-awaited return of Silent Planet, presenting their latest album, SUPERBLOOM! Still not convinced? How about the Japanese metalcore sensation of the moment, Paledusk, who just released their new EP a few days ago! And to top it off, Thornhill will also be there. With such a amazing lineup, it’s definitely the best Metalcore event of this early year!

Napalm Death – Kavka Zappa – 03 March

Napalm Death started yet another Campaign For Musical Destruction Tour, for the last 30 years that legendary formula has been a synomym for a garanteed mix of music styles. This concepts had worked for decades and managed to present new influences and extreme music over and over again.

HALFLIVES – Kavka Oudaan – 05 March

First seeing Halflives in 2022 when they opened for Against The Current at Kavka Zappa, we’re thrilled to welcome them back to Antwerp two years later, this time at the Kavka Oudaan. The venue’s perfect for a pop-punk band like Halflives. We’re eagerly anticipating hearing new tracks from their latest EP, Inferno, as well as hits like ‘Vibe’ and ‘Victim’!

DIIV – Ancienne Belgique – 06 March

After their last 2 dates in Belgium in 2022, New Yorkers DIIV, are back in Brussels on March 06, to the delight of shoegaze lovers. Their last studio album, Deceiver, released in 2019, was more than convincing, and we hope to hear a few exclusives on March 06, including their new single ‘Brown Paper Bag’.

Editors – Sportpaleis – 08 March

If you missed Editors at Rock Werchter this summer, now is your chance because they are back in Belgium for a show at the Sportpaleis in Antwerp. A few tickets are still available on Ticketmaster, don’t walk, run and get the last tickets to see them playing live this March 8.

IDLES – Lotto Arena – 09 March

If you saw/heard postpunk band IDLES’ exclusive LIVE LIVE set at Studio Brussel, where they played their new album TANGK, you will agree: their show at Lotto Arena is going to be wild. Supported by DITZ, they are going to turn Lotto Arena into one big riot. ALL IS LOVE.

Mass of the Fermenting Dregs – Botanique – 10 March

It’s a fantastic opportunity for fans of alternative rock blending shoegaze and post-hardcore, as Japanese band Mass of the Fermenting Dregs is set to play their first-ever concert in Belgium at the Botanique as part of their first-ever European tour! This is a unique event that should not be missed, as it might be the only chance to see this band in our country!

Filter – Trix – 10 March

Filter – the industrial rockband fronted by Richard Patrick (ex – Nine Inch Nails) returns with new music and a European tour. The band helped define the sound of the 90′ alternative scene but have proven to be able to make new fans even in 2024.

Orbit Culture – Kavka Zappa – 12 March

The Swedish metal band Orbit Culture is back in Belgium after an impressive set at Graspop last year. They are bringing their first headline tour to Kavka Zappa and we can’t wait to see what the band has in store for us. Don’t miss this chance to see one of the most exciting metal bands of the decade. Orbit Culture will blow you away with their intense performance and their unique sound. We already have our tickets… Get yours before they sell out!

Amaranthe + Dragonforce – Ancienne Belgique – 17 March

DragonForce and Amaranthe are teaming up for an epic co-headline tour! Get ready for a mind-blowing show with DragonForce’s killer guitars and Amaranthe’s awesome mix of melody and electronics. Both bands are known for their high-energy performances, making this tour a must-see for metal fans everywhere. Don’t miss the chance to experience this epic night at the Ancienne Belgique in Brussels!

EKKSTACY – Botanique – 21 March

The 19-year-old EKKSTACY already has a loyal fanbase eagerly awaiting his next project and is considered to be the new sensation of the surf rock scene. His singles ‘I Walk This Earth All By Myself‘ and ‘Uncomparable‘ have revealed his potential and defined his unique style, influenced by Elliott Smith, Bon Iver and The Drums. He will perform at the Botanique in what promises to be a great concert.

Mr. Big – Ancienne Belgique – 25 March

On 25 March, Mr. Big will perform their final show at the Ancienne Belgique as part of their “Big Finish” tour, featuring a night of hard rock classics. The supergroup, comprising talented guitarist Paul Gilbert, bassist Billy Sheehan, and singer Eric Martin, will play their entire 1991 album, ‘Lean Into It‘, along with other fan favorites. It’s a show that all hard rock fans should not miss!

Carnifex – De Casino – 28 March

Deathcore lovers, prepare yourself! Don’t miss the chance to see Carnifex live in concert, as they unleash their latest album Necromanteum on the world. This is your opportunity to witness the carnage and chaos that Carnifex brings to the stage! Born of Osiris – Trix – 29 March

Born Of Osiris is bringing their complex riffs, breakdowns and keyboard solos to Trix in Antwerp. Whether you’re a fan of their classic albums like The Discovery and The Simulation, or their latest release Angel or Alien, you’ll be blown away by their performance and energy on stage. Joining them on stage are Attila, Aviana and Crown Magnetar. The perfect cocktail for a night to remember! 

Pierce The Veil – Ancienne Belgique – 31 March

Pierce The Veil’s return to Belgium is an event we’ve been eagerly awaiting! Although they were once regular performers here, they haven’t visited since 2016. However, their absence is about to end as they make a comeback in 2023 with a new album and a European tour that includes Belgium in 2024! Whether you label their music post-hardcore, pop punk, emo, or simply rock, one thing’s for sure: their sound is still as catchy as ever. So, mark your calendars for the end of March and join us at the AB!
