The 5 shows to not miss at Botanique this Winter

With 3 rooms and more than 300 shows a year, there are a lot of events you can attend at Le Botanique in Brussels. From the small Witloof Bar in the basement to the Orangerie passing by the intermediate and gorgeous Rotonde, you can enjoy every genres from rap to death-metal, pop to hardcore. Like our website, the venue hasn’t any limits about the kind of music they host. And as there are so many, we wanted to share with you 5 shows we think you should not miss in the next couple of weeks!

THE COOL GREENHOUSE – 17.02.2023 – Witfloor Bar

During the whole year, you can attend some small and intimate shows with new-coming artists at the Botanique. These shows are taking place at the Witfloor Bar and often cost 10€ (7€ with the BotaCarte). This Friday February 17th, The Cool Greenhouse and their post-punk from London are waiting for you to introduce to you their second full-length album “Sod’s Toastie”. When you’ll get out from the show, you’ll ask yourself how many people are in the mind of Tom Greenhouse… well, we don’t have the answer either. But there are a lot and all as crazy as each other!

DAAN – 19.02.2023 – Rotonde

When the show has been announced, we got 3 surprises. Uno, Daan is doing shows again. Secundo, it’s at Le Botanique while we would have expected to see him in bigger venues like Trix or Ancienne Belgique. Tertio, it’s not even at the Orangerie but at the Rotonde! With a new album called “The Ride”, they are ready to hit the stage again and celebrate their 20th Birthday. Sadly, obviously, the show is already soldout but you can sign up for the waiting list or try on TicketSwap to get your precious ticket!

THE ACADEMIC – 05.03.2023 – Rotonde

In today’s list, we introduce you to some great acts in heavy music, rap, young post-punk artists or vintage pop artists. We add here some great Irish pop-rock, proof of the many and different stuff you can find for a really decent price at Le Botanique. Not at the Witfloor Bar, at the Rotonde this time, but still for 10€, you have a rendez-vous with The Academic who are gonna introduce you their upcoming album “Sitting Pretty” to be released in February. You can consider yourself lucky: they already play in front of 2000 people in UK and only for 300 people in Belgium.

BIIG PIIG – 17.03.2023 – Rotonde

Biig Piig, a rising voice based in London, is making waves in the music world. She’s a standout among the new breed of singer-songwriters who blend hip-hop, jazz, R&B, and poetic elements seamlessly. Her new mixtape “Bubblegum” has just been released, and this concert is the perfect opportunity to discover the new tracks like : “Kerosene“, “Only One,” or “Liquorice”. The concert is sold out, but don’t hesitate to check out Ticketswap for tickets.

NOVA TWINS – 23.03.2023 – Orangerie

We saw them playing arenas shows like Forest National. We saw them playing festivals like Slam Dunk. We sam them headlining intimate shows at Trix. This time, we’ll see them headline a proper show at Orangerie and we can’t wait to be there! With the power of metal, the groove of hip-hop and some touches of electro, the British duo are one of the biggest prospects of the new generation of rock bands from the UK but also worldwide. Tom Morello said there are the best band you’ve never heard off! If even the guitarist of a legendary band like Rage Against The Machine told you to listen to them, how can you still hesitate?!
